Refund Policy
How cancellations, returns, non-conforming material claims, replacements, and refunds are handled for B2B and custom-manufactured orders.
B2B Scope and Order Priority
This policy applies to business-to-business sales of metal materials and processing services. Product-specific terms in a signed contract, accepted quotation, pro forma invoice, purchase order acknowledgment, or order confirmation take priority over this general policy.
Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Order Changes and Cancellation
Contact us immediately if an order needs to be changed or cancelled. A request is not effective until accepted by us in writing.
- Before material allocation or production, cancellation may be accepted without charge or with documented administrative, banking, or procurement costs.
- After raw material has been purchased, reserved, cut, processed, inspected, packed, or dispatched, the buyer is responsible for work completed and committed costs.
- Custom dimensions, special grades, made-to-drawing parts, cut-to-length material, and customer-specific packaging generally cannot be cancelled once production or procurement begins.
Return Authorization
Do not return material without written return authorization and shipping instructions from Titanium Valley. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Unused standard-stock material may be considered for return case by case. Approval may depend on condition, traceability, original packaging, marketability, elapsed time, freight, inspection, and restocking costs. Custom-made or processed products are not returnable unless they are verified as non-conforming.
Inspection and Claim Notice
The buyer should inspect packaging, quantity, dimensions, identification, certificates, and visible condition promptly after delivery. Transit damage should also be noted with the carrier.
Unless the applicable quotation or contract states another period, visible damage, shortages, or apparent non-conformity should be reported within 7 business days after delivery. Latent issues should be reported promptly after discovery and within the applicable warranty or contractual claim period.
Information Required for a Claim
To investigate efficiently, please provide the order or invoice number, product and heat or lot identification, claimed quantity, photographs, packaging condition, inspection data, measurement method, applicable drawing or standard, and a clear description of the issue.
The buyer should preserve the affected material, labels, packaging, certificates, and representative samples and should not scrap, rework, install, or return the material until instructions are agreed.
Remedies for Verified Non-Conformity
If material is verified not to conform to the agreed specification for reasons attributable to Titanium Valley, we will work with the buyer on an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may be re-inspection, sorting, reprocessing, repair, replacement, credit, or refund of the affected product value.
The selected remedy, return route, freight responsibility, and timing will be confirmed in writing. Refunds are normally made through the original payment channel or another mutually agreed compliant method.
Exclusions
A refund or replacement may be declined where an issue results from buyer-supplied specifications, normal permitted tolerance, unsuitable material selection, improper storage, corrosion after delivery, contamination, mishandling, unauthorized processing, machining or welding conditions, installation, misuse, ordinary wear, or failure to follow agreed instructions.
Claims for consequential production loss, third-party charges, sorting, machining, or expedited freight require prior written approval and remain subject to the governing sales contract.
Shipping Costs and Contact
Return freight, duties, taxes, bank charges, and insurance are allocated according to the cause of the return and the agreed Incoterm or contract. If Titanium Valley confirms responsibility for non-conformity, reasonable approved return logistics will be addressed in the written remedy.
